Audio Total opens with a verdict: at the $80 price discussed in the video, the MS2 PRO is a “steal.” He scores it 8.5 overall and values its consistent performance across different kinds of music.
A Well-Built but Unusual Shape
The MS2 PRO’s triangular form differs from the ergonomics Audio Total encounters. It feels heavy, although he likes its appearance and considers the textured front section elegant.
Inside the package are two styles of ear tips, interchangeable tuning nozzles and a carrying pouch. The pouch is one area he would improve, preferring a more protective transportation case. His 4.4mm cable feels appropriate for the price rather than exceptional, and he stresses that balanced output is unnecessary because the MS2 PRO does not require much amplification.
Tuning Changes Stay Subtle
Audio Total hears differences between the interchangeable nozzles, including shifts in bass and midrange weight, but repeatedly warns against expecting them to transform the fundamental signature. In his assessment, the MS2 PRO remains a mild V-shaped IEM rather than becoming a basshead, vocal-focused or dramatically brighter set simply by changing nozzles.
Bass Is the Strongest Area
Low frequencies are where Audio Total thinks the MS2 PRO performs best. He describes the bass as natural, punchy and very well executed, reaching into the sub-bass without becoming overwhelming. There is a slight transition into the mids on certain tracks, but he considers it minor.
Vocals stand out within the midrange and retain their own space alongside instruments. He finds the presentation coherent and reasonably spacious, although he personally wishes the mids carried more body.
Treble is extended and clearly present. Audio Total noticed slight sibilance on one or two tracks and says the upper mids can become somewhat shrill. He personally felt this reduced after burn-in, recommending around 80 hours, but this remains his listening experience rather than an established requirement.
Precise Rather Than Huge
The soundstage is only slightly wider than average in his assessment, but placement is precise. Instrument separation is easy to distinguish, and he considers the MS2 PRO technically capable. He also enjoyed it for gaming, particularly because of its sound design and powerful bass.
Overall Assessment
Audio Total regards the MS2 PRO as a safe, reliable choice for listeners wanting one IEM that handles many genres well. Its natural punchy bass, coherent presentation, precise imaging and modest tuning flexibility make it easy for him to recommend.
Listeners wanting fuller mids, completely smooth upper frequencies or dramatic nozzle-to-nozzle transformations may be less satisfied. He also considers the included case a weak point. Even with those limitations, he rates the MS2 PRO highly and sees its $80 price at the time of review as excellent value.
